I have had the pleasure of playing in MichaelGM’s campaigns for many years, in both in-person campaigns and remote campaigns. MichaelGM runs engaging and entertaining games that can span from whimsical to “crunchy” based on the playgroup and campaign story arc. He is open to ideas and suggestions that the players bring to the table and I look forward to rolling up many more Dwarven characters from the Darkbrew clan in the future.

Mike ensures that every game is inclusive and enjoyable for everyone at the table. They foster a welcoming environment where all players, regardless of experience level, feel valued and excited to participate. Mike supports and encourages deep character development. They are adept at incorporating our backstories into the main narrative when possible, making each character’s journey feel important and unique. This personalized touch has made my characters feel more integral to the narrative and setting of each campaign, rather than just figures on a game board.

Mike is an experienced DM with a great knowledge base of D&D’s rules and settings. He brings a passion for the game that leaves room for a more casual table experience as well and is more than willing to work with players to help their character fit into the world and story. Mike also makes an effort to make both the table and the campaign world an accepting place for all players and characters.
