I first came across Shawn when I was searching for a DM in a Facebook group. His post stood out to me because he emphasized creating an LGBTQ+ friendly space, which was quite rare at the time. After contacting him, I joined one of his campaigns and was so impressed that I ended up participating in many more over the next few years. Shawn is not only extremely knowledgeable about D&D 5e, but he is also open to new ideas and fosters a positive, inclusive environment. His commitment to nurturing an LGBTQ+ friendly space has made my gaming experience incredibly enjoyable.

He’s very good at making every moment memorable. If you are new to the game like myself at the time. He was very patient with you and will help you in any way he can. I’ll never forget the first session I had.

Shawn bring together all of the best elements of the experience when he DMs. He adds intriguing new mechanics to well-built game structure, while allowing for true creativity and immersion from his players.

I have always felt like he is great at explaining the game to newer players while still giving the vets the gameplay they enjoy.

After being in multiple games DMd by Shawn both in-person and online, I would highly recommend trying a spot at his table!

The answer in short, Yes! I’ve been playing in Shawn’s games for a few years now; and I’m a better all around player for it. When I first started playing with him, I was nervous. I haven’t played D&D since the 1990s. I didn’t know much about 5E, or all the new rules. Shawn is very experienced at teaching the rules and mechanics with simplicity and understanding. No one ever feels left out in his sessions. So, yes, he is a pretty good DM for the newbie as well as the O.G. players.

I’ve know Shawn for a couple years now and have played in multiple games both virtual and face to face. He’s an awesome DM and I always have a great time!
