Jake Turner

What a great DM, Jake pours his heart into his games to ensure his PCs have the best time possible. Too many times we derailed his plans only for him to give us the shenanigans we want while driving us back to the plot. Jake is kind patient and wise and a great DM for experienced players and newcomers alike. 15/10

With his campaigns, Jake “Packs,” a punch you won’t forget! There have been times where I was confused with my next plan of action. If I stumbled with some things, he was always there with a helping hand and points me in the right direction. He may not use pencils, brushes or Photoshop, but his vivid narration and adventures are imprinted in my brain as I will never forget some of the creatures, fights and stories. I know there are DM’s out there with little tolerance and everything has to be done only one way with no wiggle room. But with Jake, he listens, thinks and responds to requests fairly. Other DM’s may be quick to answer no to some actions, but he adapts, continues and immerses your imagination. He is smart, knows his D&D and owns a plethora of its materials. If you have a question and in the rare occasion he doesn’t know? He always has his books, tabs and notes at the ready during each game.

Jake is one of those rare DMs that can find the perfect balance and pacing between action and exploration. He paints his world expertly and his sense of humor and ability to improvise also brings life to literally everyone you will meet in it.

Jake does a fantastic job of building out the world, making it feel lived in, and bringing your characters into it. Fast combat, engaging NPCs, and a fun time. Highly recommend sitting down at Jake’s table for a game.
