Joaquin Lugo

I’ve never played DnD before, but Joaquin made it fun and easy to understand. He is super friendly and great on reading the room. He has a great sense of story telling and keeps things going at a great pace. Perfect for any level of experience. And yes His mustache is real! 🙂

Joaquin is truly the people’s DM. He keeps a friendly environment and adapts to the players playing. I had never played until Joaquin invited but reassured me to just be myself and he’d help me out along the way. 5 sessions in from the first and every single one has been amazing with every one being a little more challenging. Joaquin really puts in the work by preparing for every sesh to make sure the storyline is never dull. Joaquin’s storytelling is second to none and I’d definitely recommend him as a DM whether it be for beginners or more seasoned players, he will adapt accordingly.

This guy sure can immerse. Crazy to think he’s been doing this sub a year, a born natural if you ask me. A guy can perform and really portray the scenery and atmosphere of any given scene. Really makes a welcoming experience for those new to DND, and fits right in with seasoned players. I definitely would want this guy DM’ing our campaigns, give this guy a shot, you won’t regret it!

Joaquin is truly the best at what he does. He went above and beyond to immerse us into a world and made it so enjoyable to take part in. He really took the time to adjust the game knowing I wasn’t a huge fan of New World and ran with the idea of being a Disney fan and made our game so much fun! He provided a slideshow before we even met with a rundown of characters, abilities, timeline, and game play which helped tremendously as I was new to D&D. The whole game he had us thinking hard, working together, and laughing. I can’t wait to play more games with Joaquin.

As a newcomer to the game of Dungeons and Dragons, I had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable adventure guided by an incredibly talented Dungeon Master, Joaquin. From the moment we embarked, it was clear that this DM was not just a narrator but a masterful storyteller, weaving together intricate plots and captivating narratives that even the most newest players could follow and enjoy.

I have played with Joaquin as my DM twice now and each time I found myself laughing and immersed with how well he formulated plots, side characters, and quests. Even when we had pop culture plots based of movies and T.V. shows, Joaquin made the game nothing less than amazing.

My first experience playing Dungeons and Dragons was so much fun, thanks to the dedication and talent of Joaquin. His ability to entertain, inspire, and immerse us in the world of DND was truly remarkable, and I cannot wait to take on another adventure with him.
